Your mission as our senior frontend developer is to take ownership of our frontend stack, helping us create and maintain a scalable frontend architecture for our learning platform and content management system. You will also take charge of setting up and maintaining our design system and style guides.
As a senior member of the development team, you will participate regularly in the technical decision making process. Using practices like pair programming, you will also work closely with other developers, sharing your knowledge and mentoring others. As a company, we put a lot of emphasis on ensuring high code quality, and you should know your way around functional and object-oriented programming and their associated best practices.

A CSS preprocessing language such as LESS / SASS
SPA frameworks such as Vue, Angular, etc.

What We Are Looking for in You:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in software development, ideally in an agile environment
Background in maintaining CSS style guides and defining design system components
Understanding of both Object Oriented and Functional programming paradigms
Strong grasp of SOLID principles
Experience deploying frontend applications to production
Enthusiasm for helping the team conduct effective code reviews and providing regular support and mentorship to the team
Commitment to writing clean, testable code with an eye for performance and scalability
Ability to break down complex problems into more manageable chunks
A focus on finding long-term solutions, ensuring that the product evolves in the right way
Experience with applying Agile/XP practices (for example, pair programming, TDD/BDD, Continuous Integration, and/or Continuous Delivery)
BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Experience working in a Rails environment
Experience with and enjoyment of working in a small, agile team
This is a senior-level position. The salary band for this lies between EUR 60.000,- and EUR 70.000,- annual gross. Your relevant experience will influence the final salary.
