The Community Manager supports the Marketing Team with all things related to events and social media. From organizing open day events, running design and web development webinars to advocating the brand on social media, you will love helping and connecting with people to make career change a reality.
1. Plan, promote, and execute in-person and online CareerFoundry events for prospective and current students.
Planning an event schedule and help create concepts and develop associated marketing and informational materials
Manage event logistics, including locations, refreshments and speakers
Help launch short promotional campaigns for our events across our digital channels, both organic and paid
Track and evaluate the success of the events by developing event metrics and targets
Attend industry-relevant meetups and conferences
Conceive and undertake methods to internationalize our event marketing
2. Advocate CareerFoundry across social media channels
Be “the face” of CareerFoundry, creating daily updates about what is happening behind the scenes at CareerFoundry
Engage and connect with CareerFoundry’s followers and prospects on topics concerning events, career development questions and the CareerFoundry courses
Grow a social media following and explore influencer marketing as an acquisition channel
Work with the team to develop strategies, processes and tools to increase engagement and interaction with CareerFoundry
Employ an experimental mindset to try new ways to engage followers on Social, and integrate successful experiments into regular content production
Provide monthly report of community engagement and its impact on traffic, leads and enrollments
Experience of community and/or event management at a tech company or startup
Knowledgeable about social media platforms
Passionate about the tech industry
Experience working across teams in a collaborative environment is a plus
Understanding of design processes and web development is a BIG plus
Flexible/Adaptable: Since we are a startup, you should be able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and roll with the changes
Communicative: We are a multi-cultural office with people from all over the world so that means listening to people and striving to make connections, must be comfortable with public speaking
Strategic: Able to see and communicate the bigger picture. Also able to determine opportunities and deficiencies via comprehensive analysis
